How to refill your lighter the right way:

To refill your butane torch lighter, follow these steps for a successful refill:

1. First, make sure to drain any remaining fuel from the lighter. Use a small screwdriver to press the fuel-refilling nozzle and remove any leftover fuel.

2. Turn the flame adjustment screw clockwise until it stops to turn off the fuel flow before refueling.

3. Point the fuel nozzle upwards and press the container of fuel into the lighter. Then, turn the fuel nozzle downwards and allow the lighter to refill. Avoid pumping the fuel can into the lighter to prevent the fuel tank from bursting.

4. After refilling, let the lighter rest until the fuel reaches room temperature. Butane fuel is cold during refilling and will expand as it warms up.

5. Turn the flame adjustment screw back 1/2 turn counterclockwise and try to light the lighter. If it doesn't light, adjust the screw another 1/4 turn and try again. Keep making 1/4 turn adjustments until the lighter successfully lights up.
