Turn the lighter upside down and insert the butane tank tip directly on the fuel valve. Press down firmly for about 5 seconds. 4. Wait 3-4 minutes before igniting the lighter to allow excess butane to evaporate. 5. Adjust flame level by turning the flame adjuster wheel.
