To ensure optimal performance of your lighter, follow these steps to refill it with XIKAR PUROFINE butane. First, release all tank pressure and excess air by holding the lighter upside down and gently pressing on the inlet valve with a XIKAR Tune Up Tool (not included). Second, hold the refill can upside down to allow the butane to flow to the bottom and the propellant to rise to the top, pushing the butane out. Do not shake the can. Third, insert the nozzle of the refill can into the valve and press and hold to fill the lighter. Allow the lighter to stabilize and warm up for at least 5 minutes before using it.
